The sidequests are useless perhaps a little better than previous games but still not good. On the downside there are few new characters and not all of them are interesting but also this game is focused on Lara. Focus on stealth is a welcome addition now Lara is not "one woman army" and theres the option to sneak through silently in some parts.
Exploration is better and more rewarding.

Now travel is harder and settings are adjustable and dont even compare this traveling with uncharted climbing simulator 4 at least here you need to use some timing.

Also the game is full with culture but brain dead people thinks thats boring.ok.
